This is what's going on

Hey I'm finally going to church! I'm sitting here at my dad's work while we wait for it to be church time, and this computer is SO HACKIN' FASSSTT!!!! Lol! Do you think that I watch too many Fred videos?? Huh... Oh well. lol! So I go to High Street Baptist in Springfield, and I didn't go last week. It's okay, a little bit too big, I really liked the last chuch that I went to, Miller Christian Curch, which I agree with their beliefs more, and the people were pretty cool. ^_^ Mark and Christy were my sunday school teachers for the first year or so I went there, and Dan was my sunday school teacher for the High school class/Jr. High class. ^_^ he was pretty cool, and it really sucks that we left when we did, because we were all going to work together and paint it barney purple with baby bop green polka dots/stripes(don't think we ever decided). One or two walls in the classroom was going to be the purple with green on top, then the other walls were going to be green with the purple on top. Would'a been cool. ^_^ But yeah. Bye bye classroom! :'( Sniff!!! Anywho, I'm kinda sorta hyper because I had a nice steaming mug of black coffee earlier, and I don't know how many times I have to hit the backspace button because I can't make my fingers move as fast as I'm thinking... ^_^ Anyway, here's what's on the desk I'm stting at. Ther's a calclulater with a blue and white pill on it, a wedding picture of Melanie White and her husband(She's a fleet manager, he's a truck driver), a few stacks of papers, a stack of ooh six or seven CD rom/DVD looking disks. There's a green and white mug that says 'New York -- Starbucks coffee', a 'Mercy St. John's Health System' mug, three bottles of pills(some kind of vitamin, something else, and Rolaids), a telephone and an earpiece with the little do-hicky that you plug that through and then to the phone, a little basket with a mini calender on it, A stand filled with buisness cards, a picture of I'm guessing her husband with a horse(pretty horsey!) and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. thingy, the computer monitor and keyboard and mouse, a mint, a smaller basket with makeup type stuff in it, a box of tissues, Driber Appreciation card type things, another wedding picture, stopain roll on pain reliever, headache relief, a couple pictures of her kids(I'm guessing), a picture of two male moose or elk, a picture of their field, a three hole punch, a picture of two little kids walking down a gravel road/driveway that says 'For every beauty... there is an eye somewhere to see it; for every truth... there is an ear somewhere to hear it; For every love... There is a heart somewhere to recieve it.' There is a little plant, real, there are some folders and binders on the right side, and there is a small fan. ^_^ Oh, of course there's a name plate thingy that says 'Melanie White'. Lol! Well, I'll probably update later, so talk to you later!! ^_^

Arkansas Again

I am in Arkansas with my aunt Samantha & cousin Ashli. I like their names. ^_^ I've always liked Samantha, and I like Ashli spelled that way. I'm going to make a list of the top 5 websites that I get on.

1: Facebook. I don't really like it, but it seems as if EVERYONE has one, and I'm glad to make a friend once and a while that still snail-mails. I have one. Jennifer. Yeah.

2: Gmail. Best E-Mail server I've tried yet!!

3: Yahoo. I like the news and stuff. Plus I like the Answers dealy

4: Shoutlife. Great alternative to MySpace.

5: On rare occasion I like to get on MyYearbook. O.o Weeeeeellll I suppose that it's okay sometimes. :3

And that's that. Now I'm done being bored. Yay!

Well I meant to just post like once a week...

But I grow bored in this pathetic town. My uncle sleeps during the day, because he has a night job delivering mail, and my aunt comes home and goes to sleep almost immediately because she sometimes has to work overtime(going in at 2am instead of 5am), so I'm gonna have some pretty hard times trying to blast my music from the computer speakers when everyone is asleep. :-P Oh well. I suppose that life doesn't always have to be fair, but why exactly can't it ever be fair in my favor?? Ugh. I mean really. Oh well.

Waiting is a trap. There will always be reasons to wait. The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results, and reasons simply don't count.

I ♥ quotes. ^_^

Let me introduce myself...

Hello all! My name is Maranda, I'm 13, and I got a freaking lot to say.
Okay, here's the story of my life, the interesting parts at least. Starting in September or October of 2008. My mom was throwing hedge apples underneath the house to keep the spiders away in the coming fall, and she was listening to the round fruits falling, going Thump thump thump, but then she threw one that didn't sound right. It sounded like a Thump thump SPLASH. That isn't supposed to happen, is it? Now she figured that it was a leaky pipe(there are pipes right there going to and from the kitchen sink), even though dad had just put them there last January, and just so you know, he used to be a plumber so he knows what he's doing when he's messing with pipes. Now he's a Logistics Manager at a trucking company, but that's another subject. But anyway, she forgot about it, then a few weeks later she remembered and told dad. So he went crawling under there, and there is this door type thing that he would go through to get under the kitchen to mess with the stuff in there. And he almost falls into a huge hole about eight feet deep. Well he takes his little flashlight down there with a camera, and he starts taking pictures and looking around. Well lo and behold, there's a huge peice of foundation in the hole. Well he starts researching it, and he thinks it's a sinkhole, like in Nixa Missouri a few years ago. In that one, the guy's entire garage fell in, it swallowed his car, his driveway, and half his house was hanging over the pit.
But anyway, he calls this guy who practicly lives for this type of thing, and he went down there and confirmed that it was indeed a sinkhole. So then dad called the insurance people and told them that there was a problem with our house, and that they needed to give us a check, more preferably two, one for paying off the house that we can't live in, and another one to buy another house to live in. So dad calls this lawyer, and little did he know that that guy only accepted really cool cases and he hardly ever loses a case. But he accepted! Woohoo. So another guy, one of the first guy's buddies or whatever, came along and estimated how big the sinkhole is all the way around, not just at the opening. See, sinkholes can get REALLY big without anyone even knowing. So, this thing coud be anywhere between 13 feet across, big enough to eat the back porch and the kitchen(the opening of the hole is right in front of the oven. If we were to saw a hole in the middle of the kitchen, we would be staring down the throat of the hole.) or 75 feet across, big enough to gulp down the entire house.

So it's about five months since we've had to leave for our own safety, and they still havn't sent us a check. They hired thier own lawyer, and HE even thinks that they should just give us the freaking money. They say that they'll pay for filling up the hole and fixing the foundation, but in order to fill the hole they would have to tear up half the house. Not to mention they would have to go all the way down to the bedrock more than likely to find the bottom of the thing in order to fill it. It would be cheaper and much easier just to go get a new house, pay off the old one, maybe knock it down or something. But really, I would just rather sue the pants off those cretins. All I want is to be able to go home and see my friends. My family is all split up now, because there isn't room for all of us in one place, and dad still has to work. Mom, my two sisters, and my brother are all at my aunt's house, and my dad and my dog is back at home living with one of dad's friends, and I'm living with one of my mom's friends. Ugh. Well, I'll go now, and leave you with this quote:
Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
